candle care
Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn. This prevents excess flickering and smoke/soot.
Hold the lighter or match to the wick for at least three seconds to ensure the full wick catches, not just one edge.
Place your candle on a stable, level and fire resistant surface to reduce the risk of tipping over or heat damaging the surface underneath.
Burn the candle for a minimum of two hours or until you achieve a full melt pool.
Do not burn your candle for over 4 hours to prevent overheating. This can lead to a large flame and/or cracking of the container.
Place your candle in a space away from air vents or breezes blowing through the home. This will prevent the candle from burning evenly. Some ingredients will oxidize in full sunlight giving the candle a yellow tint.
This does not affect the scent or the burn of the candle. Store candles in a cool/dark place. Protect your candle from dust, dirt, or other debris by storing them with the lid in place. Ensure that candles are stored at a consistent temperature.
Exposure to sudden temperature changes can cause the wax to melt. By following these guidelines, you can enjoy a safe candle burning experience while maximizing the fragrance and longevity of your candle.
